Lincoln, NE – Democrat gubernatorial candidate Bob Krist’s second financial disclosure shows just how deeply his campaign’s financial woes extend. With nearly $25,000 in unpaid debt, only $16,160.29 cash on hand, and some consultants not even listed on Krist’s disclosure, Krist’s net cash on hand has sunk to -$8,639.71.
“We’re one week from the Nebraska Primary, and Bob Krist’s gubernatorial campaign still has not cleared the runway,” said NEGOP Executive Director Kenny Zoeller. “Even the addition of a partisan Democrat like Lynne Walz to his ticket hasn’t been enough to convince anyone Krist is worth investing in. You get what you pay for, and Krist evidently sold his principles on the cheap.”
